Day 1

Okay here we go. I was not sure if I should do this knowing just how busy my days can become. However, I like to share the things I make for my children from paper crafts, cards to T-shirts and school projects. I don't know if anyone would be interested in what I have to share but at least I know I have a little corner on the huge world wide web to post up my creations. Currently I have been posting pictures of the things I have made on my Facebook page, but I want to be able to share how I did what I did as well. And trying to post a tutorial on Facebook can be a challenge. lol. Hope you like what I have done.

Almost that Time of the Year! When the yarn Comes out...

    I have been waiting all summer for the right time to start playing with my yarn. Last fall/winter and part of the spring I was a pretty busy bee on my Ultimate Sweater Machine. If you don't know what it is , it is a home hobby knitting machine. It is easy to assemble and does not need electricity, you put in the muscle. I make some great beanies on it. I can honestly say I have mastered the striped beanie pattern in the book and was comfortable enough to make my own alterations to the pattern. Breast Cancer Awareness Month

My sister Cecilia last week made these great pink ribbons in honor of my mom's battle against breast cancer. She was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer in 2000. She went through grueling chemo and radiation and has been in remission since 2001. We are happy to have her with us still and that she did not give up her fight when the odds were against her.
