SO BUSY!!! LOL! :)

Image
Ok so this week has been crazy hectic. With three girls and a young lady to drive around and take to school and assorted appointments I have not had a chance to update. I did manage to take care of a few projects, EXCEPT what I WANTED TO DO!!! LOL. Here are some pictures of some of the things I did get to do.  birthday card for my oldest  tote bag for grandsons toys vinyl decorated pumpkin for daughter A's class project    Used Happy Hauntings Cartridge  made the card from Rock Princess handbook  changed it from Rebel to Rock the Party Phrase  Candy bags for 20 1st graders!  used Martha Stewart Punches Spider webs and Drippy Goo  And there you have it. I have been busy especially since two daughters had birthdays. Daughter C turned 19 and Daughter B turned 13, still need to make her card, yikes, I'm falling behind. And Sister C also had a birthday and she turned 20! OK, for my next intended project I plan on making a card for my cousin who's wife just had a little boy.

Finally!

My cricut expression delivery was late. It came in yesterday evening. So tomorrow I will be making some spooky invitations. Can't wait to show you.

Brewing up something New!!!

I was looking through one of my favorite sites www.orientaltrading.com when I came across the cutest Halloween invitations. Rather then purchase them I thought I would make my own invitations using the new Happy Haunting cartridge. Its a surprise can't wait to show you on Wednesday. I am just waiting on pins and needles for my Cricut Expression to come in, Yay! I will be bidding farewell to my Cricut Create, but I know it it going to a good home.

Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Image
My sister Cecilia last week made these great pink ribbons in honor of my mom's battle against breast cancer. She was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer in 2000. She went through grueling chemo and radiation and has been in remission since 2001. We are happy to have her with us still and that she did not give up her fight when the odds were against her. For these pins you need: any pink ribbon ( she used scrap ribbon) cricut cartridge Indie Art, Mothers day seasonal cartridge paper flower embellishements assorted sizes and patterns

When my Sammy turned 1 I wanted to do something special so I decided to make her cake myself. I used my Cricut Cake to cut out all the fun cake decor and it was so much easier then trying to do everything by hand. For this Cake I used: Cricut Cake machine Paisley and Cake Basic Cartridges gum paste pre-colored fondant  cake prepared according to directions. butter cream frosting edible frosting markers

Day 1

Okay here we go. I was not sure if I should do this knowing just how busy my days can become. However, I like to share the things I make for my children from paper crafts, cards to T-shirts and school projects. I don't know if anyone would be interested in what I have to share but at least I know I have a little corner on the huge world wide web to post up my creations. Currently I have been posting pictures of the things I have made on my Facebook page, but I want to be able to share how I did what I did as well. And trying to post a tutorial on Facebook can be a challenge. lol. Hope you like what I have done. Sandy
