Super Easy Layout using Potpourri Cartridge

Image
My baby girl is adorable and so photogenic. I have been wanting to put this picture of her in my scrapbook but just had not had the time to do a whole layout. So to save some time I took a 12x12 patterned paper and cut out the heart from potpourri cartridge at 11 inches and placed it on solid pink cardstock. Next at 2 1/2 inches I cut out the LOVE also on the same button as the heart. Last I added her picture which already had a border which I added at the time of print from Walgreens photo center. Happy with how it turned out.

I Love Rock Princess

I have been busy putting together some good stuff. Today I made a few decor pieces for my daughter's room. I used the rock princess cartridge and cut the cute scull with the bow at 11 1/2 inches. Using the the heart font I also put together a name plate. I used the rose cut at 3 1/2 inches from the potpourri cartridge. had a lot of fun doing all of this.

Another child has been added to the family. My cousin and his wife just had a little boy. Little boys are rare in our family. Little girls rule in this family!! For this baby boy card I used: 6x12 black card stock - for card base 5 3/4 x5 3/4 patterned paper 4 1/4 x 4 1/4 brown card stock 4x4 blue card stock onsie is cut from patterned paper at 3" little feet are cut from brown card stock at 1/2" sheer blue ribbon Tie ribbon around the patterned paper then adhere to the card base. Next layer the remaining card stock squares. the last square is popped up with pop-dots. Glue down the little feet onto the onsie and adhere to the top popped up square.
